سُورَةُ الانفِطَارِ
Surah Al-Infitaar
The Cleaving · Meccan · 19 Ayahs
اِذَا السَّمَا࢜ءُ انْفَطَرَتْ ١ۙ
1When the sky is rent apart,
وَاِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْ ٢ۙ
2when the stars are scattered,
وَاِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ٣ۙ
3when the seas are merged,
وَاِذَا الْقُبُوْرُ بُعْثِرَتْ ٤ۙ
4when the graves are overturned,
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَاَخَّرَتْ ٥ؕ
5then a soul shall know what it has sent ahead and left behind.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيْمِ ٦ۙ
6O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord,
الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰىكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ٧ۙ
7who created you and proportioned you, and gave you an upright nature,
فِيْٓ اَيِّ صُوْرَةٍ مَّا شَا࢜ءَ رَكَّبَكَ ٨ؕ
8and composed you in any form that He wished?
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِالدِّيْنِ ٩ۙ
9No! Indeed, you deny the Retribution.
وَاِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحٰفِظِيْنَ ١٠ۙ
10Indeed, there are over you watchers,
كِرَامًا كَاتِبِيْنَ ١١ۙ
11noble writers,
يَعْلَمُوْنَ مَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ ١٢
12who know whatever you do.
اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَفِيْ نَعِيْمٍ ١٣ۙ
13Indeed the pious shall be amid bliss,
وَاِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِيْ جَحِيْمٍ ١٤ۚۖ
14and indeed the vicious shall be in hell,
يَّصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ ١٥
15entering it on the Day of Retribution,
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَا࢜ىِٕبِيْنَ ١٦ؕ
16and they shall not be absent from it.
وَمَا͏ٓ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ ١٧ۙ
17And what will show you what is the Day of Retribution?
ثُمَّ مَا͏ٓ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ ١٨ؕ
18Again, what will show you what is the Day of Retribution?
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔاؕ وَالْاَمْرُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلّٰهِ ١٩ࣖ
19It is a day when no soul will be of any avail to another soul and all command that day will belong to Allah.
