نادِ علي (الكبير)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

نَادِ عَلِيًّا مَظْهَرَ الْعَجَائِبِ تَجِدُهُ عَوْنًا لَّكَ فِيالنَّوَائِبِ

Naad-e-Aliyyan Mazharal Ajaaib, Tajidhu Awnan Laka Fin Nawaib

Call Ali, the manifestor of wonders; you shall surely find him a helper in your difficulties.

كُلَّ هَمْ وَ غَمٍّ إِلَى اللَّهِ حَاجَتِي وَ عَلَيْهِ مُعَوَّلِي كُلَّمَا رَمَيْتُ مُتَقَاضِي فِي اللَّهِ يَدُ اللَّهِ وَلِيُّ اللَّهِ لِي

Kulla Hammin Wa Ghammin, Ilallahi Haajati, Wa Alaihi Muawwaliy, Kullama Ramaitu Mutaqaadi, Fillahi Yadullahi, Waliyyullahi Li

All grief and sorrow shall be removed. I submit my needs to Allah and place my reliance upon Him.

أَدْعُوكَ كُلَّ هَمْ وَ غَمِّ سَيَنْجَلِي

Adookal Kulla Hammin Wa Ghammin Sayanjali

I call upon You; every worry and sorrow will soon disappear.

بِعَظَمَتِكَ يَا اللَّهُ بِنُبُوَّتِكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَلَا يَتِكَ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَلِيُّ اَدْرِ كُنِي بِحَقِّ لُطْفِكَ الْخَفِيِّ

Bi Azmatika Ya Allah, Bi Nubuwwatika Ya Muhammad, Wa Bi Wilayatika Ya Ali, Ya Ali, Ya Ali, Adrikni Bi Haqqi Lutfikal Khafiyy

By Your greatness, O Allah; by Your Prophethood, O Muhammad; by Your guardianship, O Ali. O Ali, O Ali, O Ali, help me by the right of Your hidden grace.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.

أَنَا مِنْ شَرِّ أَعْدَائِكَ بَرِيءٌ بَرِيءٌ

Ana Min Sharri Adaaika Bariun, Bariun

I am free from the evil of your enemies; I am free from it.

اللَّهُ صَمَدِي بِحَقِّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

Allahu Samadi, Wa Alaika Mutamadi, Bi Haqqi Iyyaka Nabudu Wa Iyyaka Nastaeen

Allah is the Eternal Refuge; I place my reliance upon You. By this truth, You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help.

يَا أَبَا الْغَيْثِ اعْتُنِي يَا عَلِيُّ أَدْرِ كُنِي

Ya Abal Ghaisi Aghisni, Ya Ali Adrikni

O helper of those who seek help, come to my aid. O Ali, help me.

يَا قَاهِرَ الْعَدُوِّ وَ يَا وَالِيَ الْوَلِيِّ يَا مَظْهَرَ الْعَجَائِبِ يَا مُرْتَضَى عَلِيِّ

Ya Qaahiral Aduwwi, Wa Ya Waliyyal Waliyyi, Ya Mazharal Ajaaib, Ya Murtaza Ali

O subduer of the enemy, O guardian of the guardian, O manifestor of wonders, O chosen one, Ali.

يَا قَهَّارُ تَقَهَّرْتَ بِالْقَهْرِ وَ الْقَهَرُ فِي قَهْرِ قَهْرِكَ يَا قَهَّارُ

Ya Qahhaar, Taqahharta Bil Qahr, Wal Qahru Fi Qahri Qahrika, Ya Qahhaar

O Almighty Subduer, You have overcome through Your might; all power and subjugation are within Your dominion, O Almighty Subduer.

يَا ذَا الْبَطْشِ الشَّدِيدِ أَنْتَ الْقَاهِرُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُهْلِكُ المُنتَقِمُ الْقَوِيُّ الَّذِي لَا يُطَاقُ انْتَقَامُهُ

Ya Zal Batshish Shadeed, Antal Qaahirul Jabbaarul Muhlikul Muntaqimul Qawiyy, Allazi La Yutaaqu Intiqaamuhu

O possessor of mighty force, You are the Subduer, the Compeller, the Destroyer, the Avenger, the Strong One whose retribution cannot be resisted.

وَ أُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

Wa Ufawwidu Amri Ilallah, Innallaha Baseerun Bil Ibaad

And I entrust my affair to Allah. Surely Allah sees His servants.

وَ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

Wa Ilaahukum Ilaahun Waahid, La Ilaaha Illa Huwar Rahmaanur Raheem

And your God is One God. There is no god except Him, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَ نِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ

Hasbiyallahu Wa Nimal Wakeel, Nimal Mawla Wa Niman Naseer

Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Trustee, the best Master, and the best Helper.

يَا غِيَاثَ المُسْتَغِيثِينَ اَغِثْنِي

Ya Ghiyaasal Mustagheeseen, Aghisni

O helper of those who seek help, help me.

يَا أَرْحَمَ المَسَاكِينَ ارْحَمْنِي

Ya Arhamal Masaakeen, Irhamni

O Most Merciful to the needy, have mercy on me.

يَا عَلِيُّ أَدْرِ كُنِي يَا عَلِيُّ اَدْرِ كُنِي

Ya Ali Adrikni, Ya Ali Adrikni

O Ali, help me. O Ali, help me.

بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ مَنْكَ وَجُودِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Bi Rahmatika Wa Mannika Wa Joodika, Ya Arhamar Raahimeen

By Your mercy, Your favour, and Your generosity, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammadin Wa Aali Muhammad

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
