Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These standards describe how Sadaat prevents and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in the Sadaat app and on sadaat.pk. They apply to everything users post — events, pages, images, contact details and links — and to every user.

1. Our standards

We are committed to keeping children safe on our Service. Any content or conduct that harms or puts children at risk is prohibited, whether it appears in an event, a page, an image, a link or a contact detail, and whether or not it has been published.

2. What is prohibited

  • Child sexual abuse material of any kind, including drawn, animated or computer-generated material, and links to it.
  • Any content that sexualises minors, including suggestive images or descriptions.
  • Grooming — using the Service, or contact details posted on it, to build a relationship with a child for sexual or exploitative purposes.
  • Sextortion, trafficking, or advertising or soliciting children for sexual or exploitative purposes.
  • Content that promotes, glorifies or instructs on the abuse or endangerment of children.
  • Posting a child's personal information, such as phone number or address, or images of a child without the consent of their parent or guardian.

3. How the app limits risk

  • Sadaat has no private messaging and no chat between users.
  • Only signed-in users can submit content, and every event and page submitted in the app is reviewed by our team before it is published, including posts from Verified Members.
  • Contact numbers on events are shown publicly only when the person who posts them chooses so.
  • Every event has a Report action, and anyone can report content by email.

4. How to report

  • In the app: open the event and tap Report. An email to our team opens with the event's reference filled in — describe the problem and send it.
  • By email: write to support@sadaat.pk with the subject “Child safety report”, the name of the event or page, and what you saw.

Please do not download, copy, screenshot or forward child sexual abuse material, even to report it — describe where you saw it instead. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first. You can also report CSAM directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org or to your national hotline.

5. How we respond

  1. Our team reviews every child-safety report within 24 hours, and acts sooner where we can.
  2. Content that violates these standards is removed or blocked from publication immediately.
  3. The responsible account is terminated and banned from the Service, together with any page it controls.
  4. We report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the relevant law enforcement authorities in Pakistan and, where applicable, to NCMEC or the competent national authority, and we preserve the related records as the law requires.
  5. We cooperate with law enforcement and respond to lawful requests for information.

We do not tell the reported user who made a report.

6. Compliance with the law

Sadaat complies with applicable child safety laws, including the laws of Pakistan such as the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and the laws of the countries where the app is available. Our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use prohibit this content, and breaking them leads to the actions above.

7. Age requirements

The religious content in Sadaat can be read by anyone without an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and users under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission to submit events, create or claim pages or make purchases. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we delete it. See our Privacy Policy.
