سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ
Surah Ash-Sharh
The Consolation · Meccan · 8 Ayahs
اَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ١ۙ
1Did We not open your breast for you
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ ٢ۙ
2and relieve you of your burden
الَّذِيْٓ اَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ٣ۙ
3which [almost] broke your back?
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ٤ؕ
4Did We not exalt your name?
فَاِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٥ۙ
5Indeed ease accompanies hardship.
اِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٦ؕ
6Indeed ease accompanies hardship.
فَاِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ ٧ۙ
7So when you are done, appoint,
وَاِلٰي رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ ٨ࣖ
8and supplicate your Lord.
