  1. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    Bismillāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm

    In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

  2. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الْأَوَّلِ قَبْلَ الْإِنْشَاءِ وَالْإِحْيَاءِ

    Al-ḥamdu lillāhi l-awwali qabla l-inshā'i wal-iḥyā'i

    All praise be to Allah, the First before bringing forth and giving life,

  3. وَالْآخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ الْأَشْيَاءِ

    wal-ākhiri baʿda fanā'i l-ashyā'i

    and the Last after the annihilation of all things,

  4. الْعَلِيمِ الَّذِي لاَ يَنْسَىٰ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ

    al-ʿalīmi alladhī lā yansā man dhakarahu

    the All-Knowing Who forgets not the one who remembers Him,

  5. وَلاَ يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَهُ

    wa lā yanquṣu man shakarahu

    and diminishes not the one who thanks Him,

  6. وَلاَ يُخَيِّبُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ

    wa lā yukhayyibu man daʿāhu

    and disappoints not the one who supplicates Him,

  7. وَلاَ يَقْطَعُ رَجَاءَ مَنْ رَجَاهُ

    wa lā yaqṭaʿu rajā'a man rajāhu

    and cuts not off the hope of the one who hopes in Him!

  8. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ

    Allāhumma innī ush-hiduka

    O Allah, I call You to witness —

  9. وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهيداً

    wa kafā bika shahīdan

    and You are sufficient as a Witness —

  10. وَأُشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ مَلائِكَتِكَ

    wa ush-hidu jamīʿa malā'ikatika

    and I call to witness all Your angels,

  11. وَسُكَّانَ سَمَوَاتِكَ

    wa sukkāna samāwātika

    the inhabitants of Your heavens,

  12. وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ

    wa ḥamalata ʿarshika

    the bearers of Your Throne,

  13. وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ

    wa man baʿathta min anbiyā'ika wa rusulika

    and those whom You have sent of Your prophets and Your messengers,

  14. وَأَنْشَأْتَ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ

    wa ansha'ta min aṣnāfi khalqika

    and the various kinds of creatures You have brought into being,

  15. أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ

    annī ash-hadu annaka anta llāhu

    that I bear witness that You are Allah;

  16. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ

    lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka

    there is no god but You alone,

  17. لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَلاَ عَدِيلَ

    lā sharīka laka wa lā ʿadīla

    You have no partner and no equal,

  18. وَلاَ خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلاَ تَبْدِيلَ

    wa lā khulfa liqawlika wa lā tabdīla

    and Your word has no breaking and no alteration;

  19. وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ

    wa anna muḥammadan ṣalla llāhu ʿalayhi wa ālihi ʿabduka wa rasūluka

    and that Muhammad, Allah bless him and his Household, is Your servant and Your messenger;

  20. أَدَّىٰ مَا حَمَّلْتَهُ إِلَىٰ الْعِبَادِ

    addā mā ḥammaltahu ila l-ʿibādi

    he delivered to the servants that with which You charged him,

  21. وَجَاهَدَ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَقَّ الْجِهَادِ

    wa jāhada fi llāhi ʿazza wa jalla ḥaqqa l-jihādi

    and struggled for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, as is truly due of striving,

  22. وَأَنَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِما هُوَ حَقٌّ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ

    wa annahu bashshara bimā huwa ḥaqqun mina th-thawābi

    and that he gave glad tidings of the reward which is true,

  23. وَأَنْذَرَ بِما هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ الْعِقَابِ

    wa andhara bimā huwa ṣidqun mina l-ʿiqābi

    and warned of the punishment which is truth.

  24. اَللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي

    Allāhumma thabbitnī ʿalā dīnika mā aḥyaytanī

    O Allah, keep me firm upon Your religion as long as You keep me alive,

  25. وَلاَ تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي

    wa lā tuzigh qalbī baʿda idh hadaytanī

    and let not my heart swerve after You have guided me,

  26. وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً

    wa hab lī min ladunka raḥmatan

    and grant me mercy from Yourself,

  27. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ

    innaka anta l-wahhābu

    surely, You are the All-Bestower.

  28. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

    ṣalli ʿalā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin

    Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

  29. وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَتْبَاعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ

    wajʿalnī min atbāʿihi wa shīʿatihi

    and make me one of his followers and his adherents,

  30. وَاحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَتِهِ

    waḥshurnī fī zumratihi

    and gather me in his company,

  31. وَوَفِّقْنِي لِأَدَاءِ فَرْضِ الْجُمُعَاتِ

    wa waffiqnī li-adā'i farḍi l-jumuʿāti

    and grant me success in fulfilling the obligation of Fridays,

  32. وَمَا أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيهَا مِنَ الطَّاعَاتِ

    wa mā awjabta ʿalayya fīhā mina ṭ-ṭāʿāti

    and the acts of obedience You have made obligatory upon me within them,

  33. وَقَسَمْتَ لِأَهْلِهَا مِنَ الْعَطَاءِ

    wa qasamta li-ahlihā mina l-ʿaṭā'i

    and the bestowal You have apportioned for their people

  34. فِي يَوْمِ الْجَزَاءِ

    fī yawmi l-jazā'i

    on the Day of Recompense!

  35. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

    innaka anta l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu

    Surely, You are the Almighty, the All-Wise!
