اَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرُوْنِ يَمْشُوْنَ فِيْ مَسٰكِنِهِمْؕ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّاُولِي النُّهٰي ١٢٨ࣖ
Does it not dawn upon them how many generations We have destroyed before them, amid [the ruins of] whose dwellings they walk? There are indeed signs in this for those who have reason.
Məgər (kafirlərə) bəlli olmadımı ki, Biz onlardan əvvəl (indi) məskənlərində gəzib dolandıqları neçə-neçə nəsilləri məhv etdik? Həqiqətən, bunda (keçmiş ümmətlərin giriftar olduğu müsibət və fəlakətlərdə) ağıl sahibləri üçün ibrətlər vardır!
پس آیا [این حقیقت] سبب هدایتشان نشده است که چه بسیار امت ها را پیش از آنان هلاک کردیم که [اینان] در مساکن آنان رفت و آمد می کنند؟ مسلماً در این [امور] نشانه هایی [عبرت آموز] برای صاحبان خرد است.
کیا انہیں اس بات نے رہنمائی نہیں دی کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی نسلوں کو ہلاک کردیا جو اپنے علاقہ میں نہایت اطمینان سے چل پھر رہے تھے بیشک اس میں صاحبان هعقل کے لئے بڑی نشانیاں ہیں
