فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا السَّاعَةَ اَنْ تَاْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةًۚ فَقَدْ جَا࢜ءَ اَشْرَاطُهَاۚ فَاَنّٰي لَهُمْ اِذَا جَا࢜ءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرٰىهُمْ ١٨
Do they await anything except that the Hour should overtake them suddenly? Its portents have already come. When it overtakes them of what avail will the admonitions they were given?
Onlar (kafirlər) ancaq o saatın (qiyamət saatının) qəfildən başlarının üstünü almasınımı gözləyirlər? Onun əlamətləri artıq gəlmişdir. (Qiyamət saatı) onlara gəlib yetişdiyi zaman ibrət almaları (peşman olub tövbə etmələri) onlara nə fayda verər?!
پس آیا [منافقان و منکران] جز این را انتظار می برند که ناگاه قیامت بر آنان فرا رسد؟ [در حالی که هم اکنون نشانه هایش آمده است]، پس هنگامی که قیامت بر آنان فرا رسد، متذکّر شدن و هوشیاری شان از کجا و چگونه به آنان سود بخشد؟
پھر کیا یہ لوگ قیامت کا انتظار کررہے ہیں کہ وہ اچانک ان کے پاس آجائے جب کہ اس کی علامتیں ظاہر ہوگئی ہیں تو اگر وہ آبھی گئی تو یہ کیا نصیحت حاصل کریں گے
