Surah Al-Maa'un

اَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّيْنِ ۝١ؕ

1Did you see him who denies the Retribution?

فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَ ۝٢ۙ

2That is the one, who drives away the orphan,

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰي طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِ ۝٣ؕ

3and does not urge the feeding of the needy.

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّيْنَ ۝٤ۙ

4Woe to those who pray

الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ ۝٥ۙ

5but are heedless of their prayers

الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَا࢜ءُوْنَ ۝٦ۙ

6—who show off

وَيَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ ۝٧ࣖ

7but deny aid.
