سُورَةُ الهُمَزَةِ
Surah Al-Humaza
The Traducer · Meccan · 9 Ayahs
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةِ ١ۙ
1Woe to every scandal-monger and slanderer,
اࣙلَّذِيْ جَمَعَ مَالًا وَّعَدَّدَهٗ ٢ۙ
2who amasses wealth and counts it over.
يَحْسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَهٗٓ اَخْلَدَهٗ ٣ۚ
3He supposes his wealth will make him immortal!
كَلَّا لَيُنۢ͏ْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ ٤ؗۖ
4No indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crusher.
وَمَا͏ٓ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ ٥ؕ
5And what will show you what is the Crusher?
نَارُ اللّٰهِ الْمُوْقَدَةُ ٦ۙ
6[It is] the fire of Allah, set ablaze,
الَّتِيْ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَي الْاَفْـِٕدَةِ ٧ؕ
7which will overspread the hearts.
اِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُّو͏ٔ͏ْصَدَةٌ ٨ۙ
8Indeed it will close in upon them
فِيْ عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ ٩ࣖ
9in outstretched columns.
