وَمَا كُنْتَ تَتْلُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِهٖ مِنْ كِتٰبٍ وَّلَا تَخُطُّهٗ بِيَمِيْنِكَ اِذًا لَّارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُوْنَ ٤٨
You did not use to recite any scripture before it, nor did you write it with your right hand, for then the impugners would have been skeptical.
(Ya Rəsulum!) Sən bundan (bu Qur’andan) əvvəl nə bir kitab oxumusan, nə də onu əlinlə yazmısan. Əgər belə olsaydı, onda batilə uyanlar (onun barəsində) şəkk-şübhəyə düşərdilər (Onu hardansa oxuyub öyrənmişdir, deyərdilər).
و پیش از این [قرآن]، تو هیچ نوشته ای را نمی خواندی و آن را با دست خود نمی نوشتی وگرنه باطل گرایان یاوه گو [در وحی بودن و حقّانیّت آن] شک می کردند،
اور اے پیغمبر آپ اس قرآن سے پہلے نہ کوئی کتاب پڑھتے تھے اور نہ اپنے ہاتھ سے کچھ لکھتے تھے ورنہ یہ اہل باطل شبہ میں پڑ جاتے
