Tuesday Dua (Syeda Fatima A.S)

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ غَفْلَةَ النَّاسِ لَنَا ذِكْرًا

Allāhumma jʿal ghaflata n-nāsi lanā dhikran

O God, make the negligence of people as means of remembrance for us

وَاجْعَلْ ذِكْرَهُمْ لَنَا شُكْرًا

Wa jʿal dhikrahum lanā shukran

and make their remembrance the rank of thankfulness for us.

وَاجْعَلْ صَالِحَ مَا نَقُولُ بِأَلْسِنَتِنَا نِيَّةً فِي قُلُوبِنَا

Wa jʿal ṣāliḥa mā naqūlu bi-alsinatinā niyyatan fī qulūbinā

Whatever good things we utter, make them rooted in the heart

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ مَغْفِرَتَكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِنَا

Allāhumma inna maghfirataka awsaʿu min dhunūbinā

O God, your forgiveness is wider than our sins

وَرَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجَىٰ عِنْدَنَا مِنْ أَعْمَالِنَا

Wa raḥmataka arjā ʿindanā min aʿmālinā

and your mercy is more reliable than our deeds.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad

وَوَفِّقْنَا لِصَالِحِ الْأَعْمَالِ وَالصَّوَابِ مِنَ الْفِعَالِ

Wa waffiqnā li-ṣāliḥi l-aʿmāli waṣ-ṣawābi mina l-fiʿāl

and grant us the good sense of righteous deeds and correct acts.
