دعاء يوم الأربعاء (السيدة فاطمة الزهراء عليها السلام)

اَللّٰهُمَّ احْرُسْنَا بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِيْ لَا تَنَامُ

Allāhumma ḥrusnā biʿaynika l-latī lā tanāmu

O Allah, guard us with Your eye that never sleeps,

وَ رُكْنِكَ الَّذِيْ لَا يُرَامُ

wa ruknika l-ladhī lā yurāmu

and with Your support that cannot be overcome,

وَ بِاَسْمَائِكَ الْعِظَامِ

wa bi-asmā'ika l-ʿiẓāmi

and with Your magnificent Names,

وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهٖ

wa ṣalli ʿalā muḥammadin wa ālihi

and send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household,

وَ احْفَظْ عَلَيْنَا مَا لَوْ حَفِظَهٗ

wa ḥfaẓ ʿalaynā mā law ḥafiẓahu

and guard for us that which, had it been guarded by

sentence continues into next segment

غَيْرُكَ ضَاعَ وَ اسْتُرْ عَلَيْنَا مَا لَوْ سَتَرَهٗ غَيْرُكَ شَاعَ

ghayruka ḍāʿa wa stur ʿalaynā mā law satarahu ghayruka shāʿa

anyone other than You had guarded it, it would have been lost, and conceal for us that which, had it been concealed by anyone other than You, it would have been made public,

continuation of previous segment

وَ اجْعَلْ كُلَّ ذٰلِكَ لَنَا مِطْوَاعًا اِنَّكَ سَمِيْعُ الدُّعَاءِ

waj ʿal kulla dhālika lanā miṭwāʿan innaka samīʿu d-duʿā'i

and make all of that submissive to us; indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication,

قَرِيْبٌ مُجِيْبٌ

qarībun mujībun

Near, and the Responder [to prayers].
